Deep in osmosis – does my fingers dance along each piece of unwoven, scented, used laundry sheets. Originally discarded by the masses after it’s intended use, do I collect it’s feeble weight and sculpted it through twists and turns, folds and lifts into a piece choreographed fit for the body.
Move in it as you please.
The parts are sculpt to exaggerate and accentuate the body but when worn, lightness of materials allow the sense of freedom to move, similarly to how tentacles of Sea Nettle jelly fishes flow with current of water, illuminated by their proteins.
A total of 156 used laundry sheets were used. “Liquify” is the first choreographed piece fit for the body, completely disregarding the usage of manufactured fabrics and push the thought process: can fashion be tastefully worn without following the food chain of manufactured fashion? Can we bring back to light the lost art of craftsmanship behind each developed skill?
The faster we make advances and replace human skills with autonomy, the greater my passion to step back and bring to light the movement of craft skills – drive deeper to cherish human interactions. “Liquify” is just the beginning of my story. This creative bug is not finished yet. New additions to this series will continue to grow in the near future, inspiring others by reversing the fast forward fashion to appreciate the lost art of craftmanship.

Hey there 🙂
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you
don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite
a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd”
on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
Hey!
the theme is “Birch” 🙂 It was super easy to build using this theme. good luck!
Stay safe and keep up the hustle regardless!
